Last updated 25 August 2026. Covers the Relay website and the Relay Chrome extension.
What Relay is
Relay is a distribution desk for X replies. It scores the first 15–40 minutes after a post goes live and drafts reply text. It never posts on your behalf.
What we collect
Buying a license requires an account. There is no advertising profile and no analytics pixel.
- Account. Sign-in uses Google or X through the Grok auth broker so we know who paid.
- License. A $29 purchase on this website issues a key. You paste it into the Chrome extension. The key is stored in the extension. Tweet content is not sent as part of payment.
- Chrome extension. When listed on the Chrome Web Store and installed, it reads that post’s author, text, timestamp, and URL from the page. That data stays in the extension. This website does not host an extension zip.
- Website. Watchlist, log, voice notes, and drafts are stored in this browser (localStorage). After you unlock, Write sends the post text you pasted to a hosted model and discards it. If generation is unavailable, drafts are written on-device.
What we do not do
- We do not post, like, follow, or message on X.
- We do not sell data.
- We do not use tweet content for ads or training disclosures beyond the one-shot draft you asked for.
- We do not track you across sites.
Permissions
The extension asks for access to x.com and twitter.com so it can read the open post and, if you click Insert, place text in the reply composer. Storage holds the current post while the panel is open. The side panel is the desk itself.
